Bubble bucket size for small stealth grow?

I'm a first timer with DWC and trying to do a bubble bucket in a small grow cab (1.5' x 1.5' x 4'). I'm growing FMS C99, which is only gonna get to around 30" in height or so. I grabbed a 1 gallon bucket in a pinch to start with, but I don't think I'll wind up needing to have something as big as a 5 gal. bucket for this little girl, will I? Anyone have any suggestions about what size (smallest) bucket I'll need for the roots?

I'd like to see how your grow turns out. Not tried a small DWC yet because I had read that it was a bit harder to keep the water chemistry in check with smaller amounts of water. If ya give it a go post pics! You also might want to cruise through the indoor micro growing threads. Might find some answers there as well.

Anticipate at least a 3 gallon...problem will be trying to swap out for a larger bucket once you realize your existing bucket is too small.
