Bubble Hash drying....

Quick question, I just cut down my little girl and I just ordered a bubble bag kit, everything that I have read said to let all the leaf matter get "dry" and then freeze. How dry is dry? Do I need to treat it like my cuttings and do the dark room? Or keep it in the cardboard box in garage for a week and that would be good?

I put mine in a tote and have a fan blow on it. Mix it up often till it starts getting dry. Then maybe twice a day til it starts to crumble. About 4 days for me. Then I put it in a bag and weigh it out and freeze.

i just throw the leaf matter on some extra cooking screens and put em a the bottom of my drying tent for about 5to7 days then i throw it in ziplock bags and freeze em for 3 days, works like a charm

dude check out matt rize on this site. his concentrate appears to be the best and i'm trying to master his technique. he does a few things that bubbleman doesn't do in his video. like soaking the material for 30 min first. also i can't figure if he freezes or not. the hard part is keeping the hash pure and clean with out plant material to fuck it up. maybe frozen isn't as conducive to this. and my next grow i'm keeping the main trim and leaves separate. only the absolute best to bubble with.

I've noticed that my bubble runs still lose weight for a couple of weeks after they're dry by touch and feel.
So I recommend tracking (charting) the weight of your product, in order to be certain of not bottling off a potential mold culture. that would be just heartbreaking. cn

Matt Rize is the man for bubble hash. I believe he cuts his plants and puts it right into the freezer. His threads are on this site just search him out.

i must have missed the freezer part. think i've only watched part 2 of video and spent a few hours going through the massive post on concentrate.

Chop and freeze right away, this means the trimmings, etc are still rigid and still all solid pieces. If you dry it out it'll crumble up when youre spinning (mixing it) and give you green hash. When mine is fresh from the bag its almost a pure white/slight tinge of red, and the outside gradually turns brown as its exposed to air. However if you cut into it you keep a nice blonde/slighly red inside.

No green anywhere in it unless some escapes your work bag (usually user error due to using the product youre making ;) ).

Hope this helps.
