bubble hash weight?

hello just wanting to know if i used good quality flowers how much bud would get so much hash
i.e 1oz bud = however much dust?

i think most people expect 10%

cheers mate is that the norm then ? or is that just from the trim?

trim and popcorn ... im sure quality bud would return alot more

with quality bud you will get much more than 10% but I have never made a batch with pure top shelf.. I almost always use secondary buds from lower growth and the sugar trim. Also depends on your method of extraction. If you use a bubblelator or any little washer I think you get much better results than using a hand mixer or spoon. Also, Don't grind up the bud. You will not get as much out of it if you do that. It doesn't seem to make sense as you would think that more surface area would be better but I think you destroy glands and create to much material in the bags so the glands don't settle through the nets like they should.. Just my 2 cents..

Make sure you really dry out the Hash. water extracted hash will mold if you don't get out all the moisture. even if you press it.. Just get it as dry as possible when you are placing it on your drying screens. I would put some paper towel under the screens and hopeuflly you can get he moisture to wick into that..
