Just got done setting up some of my Bubbleponic system heres a few pics

So far i have 1 Airstone i will be going back to petco to get probably 2 more 14" airstones. Does anybody have any reviews on Penn Plax Bubble Wall thats the one i currently have. Do the airstones really matter??? Also what size Netpots would you recommend? I play on having at least 7 plants if possible 8

That is an enormous tank! Be aware that it's gonna be a pain in the ass to change that much water every week or two. I like the ten gallon size myself. If you're planning on eight plants, I'd set up two ten gallon tanks instead--having eight plants sharing the same reservoir is just asking for problems that you don't need for your first go-round. Eight plants will be constantly competing with eachother for light and space, and may have different responses to the shared res. I wouldn't go with more than five plants on your huge tank.

As for the air stones, you want one that diffuses the air into the smallest possible bubbles, but I couldn't tell you offhand what brand to look for. Most any stone should work, though. edit: I use the ones that look like sandstone. I'm not sure how well those plastic ones work.

The net pot size doesn't really matter, it's just a support for the plant. 95% of the roots will be outside anyway. I use 3.5 inch pots, I believe.

you're going to be getting through a HELL of a lot of nutrients with that thing. maybe upto 0.5L a week at times.. that vertical space is completely wasted as the roots prefere to spread out across the water than just straight down (helped in part by the aerated water). you might want to think about putting some non-toxic ballast in the bottom

K thanks for the info im thinking since its my first grow im going to try only 4-5 plants in a 10 gallon thanks for the input ill update you i ordered
Sunleaves DuraPump Air

This 18-watt DuraPump Air pushes 600 gallons of air per hour and comes with a four-outlet air divider

Also i ordered 4 14" airstones hopefully they fit in a 10 gallon if not ill just got up a few gallons

You need to prep your tote and use insulation or you need to spray paint it black and then hit it with some white. You will have high temp waters if you don't do something. Better to do it now then 3 weeks into the grow and have root rot

What do you mean prep your tote doesn't light get absorbed by black therefor making it hotter? And as for insulation im confused on how that would work in my bubble kit

Yeah - he followed that up by saying "hit it with some white."

Also, I would replace those clear air lines with black ones. The clear lines will let in light which aids the growth of the bad bacteria that cause root rot.
