Bubbleponic Help please

Hello, I'm currently working on building a small bubbleponic system. I have 1 Air pump with 2 air sprayers so i have 2 10 inch bubbler's in the bottom of the reservoir i have two 2"in net pots on the top. But ive noticed some people use a water pump also and like pump water into the roots is it possible to just use the air pump and the plant would feed off the bubbles or will it not work unless i have a water pump pumping water into the roots sorry im a newbie to hydroponics lol If anyone could help much apreciated xD

Yes a pump would certainly help. Until the roots touch the water they need to be given water someway. A pump is ideal for that. A small fish pump should do the trick.
