Bubbleponic Nutrient Solution

How stong should the nutrient solution be when the roots of the seedlings first are introduced in a bubbleponic system? GH has two different charts, should I use drain to waste chart or recirculating? I did recirculating(strongest) .Since I had already introduced them to week 1 schedule top feeding, I started my bubbleponic system at week 2 solution(early growth) from the GH recirculating chart . Is that too strong, my root tips are turning black as they hit the water.(Fresh water from 2 days ago)Please help!

-I light proofed
-I use aquashield
-I keep res water at 65
-I take care mixing a little less than recomended amounts.
-change water every 7 days.
-Keep pH at 5.8 - 6.0
What am I doing wrong, I feel like I might be using wrong chart.

honestly you should just buy a tds meter. it'll save you a lot of headache in the future.

but i can say this.. i've never had luck using just aquashield. it'll clean the gunk out of the water but the roots still don't thrive. (in my system) i couple it with EWC tea and my roots stay pearly white now.

second, little babies don't need ANY nutes. especially if you're using tap water. i'll let em go till week 3 before feeding them. and even at this point, less is more. if your solution is too strong they'll just sit there, stunted. Not "a little less than recommended amounts". A quarter. 1/4. Barely ANY. and slowly work your way up.

I'm at two weeks from sprouting, here's what is looks like. She dosen't look sick so far.

You still got a little time before they need anything.

For a strain I don't know, I wait till they start to get a bit lime colored then start at 250ppm, wait a day or two and work it up 50ppm a day till the color comes back.

Edit: I use EC x .5 for my ppms.

I realized that my roots were drying out. They were too far from the water, they were fine in the hydroton when I was top feeding. When they left the net pot, bubbles were too far below,that's when the tips dried up and turned black. I raised my water level, roots like it now.
