bubbleponics 2 questions?

1. i am planning on buying a stealth hydro bubbleponics system and was wondering that when the plants start getting 1-3 feet tall and the roots go crazy is it ok if the roots get so long that they reach the water resevoir below them?

2. my grow space may only be about 2 x 2 x 4 do u guys think that i will have enough space for this system? and with this limited space shuld i only veg the plants until they are about 1-1.5 feet tall so that when they flower they dont get too tall for my space?

1) Your roots will be in the water.... and filling the res. tank

2) I think you are going to run out of room very fast. Your res is going to take up about 18".... and your light is going to require about the same at the highest position. Doesn't leave you with much room for plant growth and air circulation.

You should check out some of the custom mini room builds that peeps have put together and make it work in your space.

Within 7 to 10 days, they roots will reach the deep water and within 3 weeks, they will almost fill up the tank. But that is OK.

The tank is 12.5 inches tall. The CLAMP LIGHT Reflectors are 12 to 18 inches tall. Any light will take up 12 to 18 inches. If you only have 48 inches for HEIGHT, and you use 24 to 30 inches for the tank and lights, that will leave you only 18 to 24 inches for the plants, which will be some short small runty plants.

ok i think im gonna upgrade to the GrowLab60 which is 2 x 2 x 5'3" instead of the 1'9" x 1'9" x 4 which gives me over an extra foot of grow room.

i can build a frame out of pvc tubes and will attach the cfl's horizontally reducing the space they take up and will allow the lights to reach within 6-12" from the top which wuld leave about 3 feet for the plants....at wat height do u guys think i shuld start flowering the plants if i dont want them getting above 3 ft and maybe wat yields culd i pull with this
