Bubbler and Mister overkill?

Using a 18 Gallon tote, 7L per min air pump and stone bubbler, would it be pointless to add a water pump and some misters? Essentially, what I am asking, is this a waste of equipment/energy?

I only use the pump mister set up in my veg box until the roots start to hang down, then for the rest of veg and all of flowering i only use the airstones. I used to use the pump and was having water temp issues. I've not regretted taking the pump away.

My question can better formed now that im not ripped. Is there a point where it's pointless to add more airstones? Like, what benefits would you get from adding 4 large airstones versus 3.. My assumption is: Very little benefit comes from adding any more than 2 large stones and one pump to a 18gal rez. Simple question.. I have the sort of personality where I always want to go overboard with everything I do. I was thinking of hooking up 3 pumps and 6 flexible airstones to a single rez. After thinking about it more, it's pointless after 1 pump, I don't think it's going to enhance the o2 uptake of the water by adding another pump.
