Bubblicious Week 9 Harvest???

Ok so this is my first harvest. My girl is 9 Weeks from showing sex, actually a bit more. The strain is supposed to be ready to harvest in 8-9 weeks. Upon constant examination, 80 percent of pistils are orange and receding. I cannot make out any amber Trichomes. They all look cloudy with next to no clear anymore. I pulled small popcorn nugs from the bottom on weeks 7 and 8. Dried them by hanging a few days, and smoked. Got nicely baked. At this point I'm just sort of waiting on amber trichs. So I can know if Im on the downslope of quality. Should I just go ahead and chop at the end of week 9. Heres a closeup of a cola.

--IMO she looks ready, and since you already did the popcorn test and got baked, you could give here another week if you wanted

Thank for the encouraging words. I was thinking of letting it go until the very end of the week. It will be time for one more watering, but I'll hold off to start the drying

I do have a 60x lighted jewelers scope. I have been looking all over the plant leaves, flowers, different areas. Just cant see any amber

Thanks! Yes I will give it a few more days. I am gonna do a noce slow cure. I have the perfect area set up.

lotta white hairs. Give it at least a week, if not 2.

Hmmm..These are my 2 Nirvana Bubblelicious girls.. today is day 65 from developed pistils...NOT 12/12 switch.. I have both pheneos,..the indica one, and the Pole one.."more sativa dominant"...I still don't see any amber on either of these either....And I'm a veteran....first time at any gum strain...



And then the "pole" version..


Should be getting close... These pics were taken on 1-26

Id say go ahead and harvest if you ve flushed already as you want between 60-70% of th red hairs as they will continue to ripen after chop....

DVX....I have never grown Niravana Bubbleicious but I do grow what we call Ohio which is right now still clone only and besides myself only 4 others still have it as it was from the very original mother of the original Bubblegum strain. Its only been passed a few times and I was lucky enough to get my original 2 clone cutting 10 years ago and have kept it going and just now getting round to making fem seeds out of it. Yours look very sativa heavy for a Bubblegum cross as original Bubblegum has a very broad huge indica leaf. My leaves which are the mother plant leaves tend to be about 8 to 10 inches across and each finger is about 8 inches long. I harvest growing in aero at week 5 to 6 of 12/12 flower after 2 weeks veg. They will be covered in sugar crystalls almost all white with a bluish hue and orange hairs.

your scope should be the telling factor when determing harvest time. GL

Yup My strain is Nirvana Bubblicious feminized. I a, exactly 9 weeks from actual pistils. Its nice to see a veteran doesnt see ambers on this strain yet either. I am gonna let her go up until week 10.

Very interesting information. This is my first succesful grow I ordered beans from one seed. The strain is Nirvana Bubblicious Feminized. I actually had a dutch passion blueberry going too but it turned out to be male So I threw it out and focused all my light on the Bubblicious.

I know But I just dont see Any amber trichs anywhere.

Yeah..Mine were regular beans.. popped 2 out of a 10 pak from attitude..got both female..however I flowered these 2 at about 10" tall, in 2 gal. pots.... Was just trying these out basically..Was more into my WW and Kush's... But these 2 turned out surprising..The one capped off at about 24" from top of pot.. The "pole" version topped off at around 50" from top of pot as well..I did take down the top half of the short one due to last ditch effort bananers poking around...No signs of bananas on the tall one..Both were topped once at about 2 weeks old.. Both were grown in optimum conditions for a 400 mh/hps.. Sterile as well.. Exact same watering, nutes, etc..etc.. AMAZING how much variance there is in the 2...considering they smell taste, and pretty much same sample buzz ...I'll take a few more pics tonight.. and post.. May take the top half of the tall one tomorrow before lights on....I would put in the dark for 3 days..but I cant harvesting half now, half later...

im a noob, what are the bananas cause i think i got them on my bubbalicius

lovely plant, sometimes the trichs never amber .

Plants show their sex before the flowering stage, your plant is def female. Looks tasty!

wait to see some amber: it'll happen soon. i wait until about 10-20% amber trichs. for me that's perfect harvest time. GL
