I like the Confederate flag. It was part of the culture I grew up in, and I never associated it with racism. It was just a cool-looking flag to me.

I don't condone it's display on public property, because I realize the division it brings. But I have a Confederate flag in a picture frame in my house, hanging on the living room wall. And I like it.

As a people we are fighting to maintain the heavenly ordained supremacy of the white man over the inferior or colored race; a white flag would thus be emblematical of our cause. Such a flag would be a suitable emblem of our young confederacy, and sustained by the brave hearts and strong arms of the south, it would soon take rank among the proudest ensigns of the nations, and be hailed by the civilized world as THE WHITE MAN’S FLAG.”

I proudly hang my Confederate flag for different reasons Buck. Just because it looks cool and I like it. Not for racist purposes.

so you joined a white supremacy group, and you hang a white supremacy flag at your house, but you're totally not racist?

“I look at our unemployment rate consistently being double that of folks in white America. I do understand that, to some degree, there’s a level of racism that we all have to overcome… but that doesn’t mean every single issue is race related,” he said. “Sometimes it is about how you represent yourself, it is about how you present yourself.”

You should listen to his comments on black on black murders.
