Bud Factor X

Got a litre of bud factor x by advanced nutrients from a friend who works for them. I just have no idea what it's for other than the first 6 weeks of flower... so I was wondering, anybody got the full scoop? Google didn't help much haha.

Soluble potash is simply potassium. The fractionated plant extracts are probably not having much effect on anything. Just another way to milk the amateurs who don't know how to go to a greenhouse supply store and mix their own nutrients. Anybody buying those grow shop nutrient formulations is just throwing their money away.

This product is not a mystery...

This combines two of their now discontinued products, Scorpion Juice and Colossal Bud Blast...perhaps something else? Anyway....Scorpion Juice induced the SAR reaction in plants...causing them to think they are being attacked by some illness...what this reaction does is causes the immune system to turn on...making the plant stronger and more resilient to disease but also inhibits more oil production as well....

Colossal Bud Blast was a growth hormone....now AN has combined both of them together...

that is all

Bud Candy is....Sweet Leaf + ...I cannot recall their B vitamin product....but Bud Candy in addition to having what was in Sweet, plus the full suite of B vitamins...it also has the full suite of amino acids too....

What kinda nutes do you use man?? Sensi A&B, Bud candy,voodoo juice.....is working very well for me.....i used to use fox farm which worked good, but not like AN....

i just purhased bud factor x im going to use it along with gh floranova line on some outdoor hybrids in hempy buckets.

I've been doing a lot of reading up on SAR research and found this handy guide to the commercially available basic components.

Now, mind you, this is put out by people trying to sell the stuff to you so it needs to be taken with a pound of salt. I've found some good research that supports chitosan and willow water and beneficial SAR agents but the Messenger protein has been show to be ineffective by many major universities.

Thats the stuff the main ingredient in scorpion juice and I think since they went all hush-hush with the ingredients for Bud Factor X, that's probably the main stimulant.

I purchased and am trying the YEA! chitosan brand, its development was funded by NASA so I'm figuring its got to be good. I mean, who doesn't like Tang?

I like Big Bud and bud candy with H&G's full line and it works wonders but when I tried this product along with the others....The plants did not like it......Cool....one less thing i need to buy....Peace

i seriously doubt any of the people in this thread have ever even used it or there would be some real information on here. just sounds like a bunch of amateurs sharing their worthless opinion. Who has actually used the stuff those are the only people who should be posting. and pics or it didnt happen.

I actually did try it cuz I got a free gallon from an unsatisfied custy......I didn't like it but I am not saying that it doesn't work.....just didn't work in my recipe and it is crazy expensive.....I use a lot of AN supplements and love them.....AN rocks.....just didn't like this one......no big deal....I been at this stuff for years tryin this and that........Just one man's opinion .......Peace

tru that thanks man. I'm doing the same thing, currently testing 7 different AN micro nutes with several different plants. Which ones do you feel from your experience work the best? I have bud candy, bud factor x, nirvana, liquid big bud, and overdrive, my first time trying any of them. I plan to continue and test every AN micro nute to see which ones work the best, but if you have already done so that would save me alot of time!

I dig the bud candy, nirvana all the way through veg and flower, and liquid Big bud....I have tried other sweeteners...floranectar and sweet....I prefer the candy....Bud candy has been in my arsenal for years cause it used to be 2 separate products, Sweet Leaf and carboload, that they put together to make Bud Candy.....Big Bud is a great mid bloom enhancer although I am so satisfied with it that i haven't tried others....Nirvana is like floralicious plus, Liquid Karma, or algen extract...Kelp, vitamins, humic and such....great to use all the way through....I feel that these products really compliment H&G and run clean in the rez.... Any of the others, besides Overdrive, never served a purpose for my regimen....like B52....I already have B vitamins with the nirvana....or...Rhinoskin... it's too high in potassium. It has silica, but I get silica by naturally raising the ph with silica blast....Bud Factor X didn't work for my strains so that's out....Piranha and tarantula are their beneficial bacteria products but are way more expensive than Great white or Plant success. Bud ignitor? Never tried it.....I am assuming it is an early bloom booster. I don't use those but if I did I would use MOAB which is waaaaaay cheaper. Can't think of any others off the top of my head....Great products but I don't use the full line....Finding your own recipe is how you get a unique herbal product in the end.....like a chef......Peace

Hell Ya! Hey thanks for the info bro, good stuff! Thats all really good to know and hear, i did not plan on keeping the bud factor x as the bud candy seems to be similar but better, and it is much cheaper. It is nice to know that i can give nirvana all through veg and flower, i was waiting until the third week of flower. I use General Hydroponics Flora Nova as my 2 part base nutes, and i also use a Mycorrhizal Fungus called Myco Madness from humbolt nutrients, and the micros which i have always used are Humboldt County's Own Snowstorm ultra, Gravity and i plan on trying Purple Maxx when i run out of the snowstorm (which will be very soon.). The final two products- Snowstorm and Gravity have done exactly what they say they do, and I am pleased with their results.

No worries man....Flora nova is pretty kick ass from what I hear...Actually....Bud factor X is is different than bud candy. It is the new version of.....damnit!! can't remember the name!!!....Anyway... it makes ur plants think they are sick to build up a good immune system..but it just made my plants sick...and thats it....I have a few buddies who use Snowstorm and love it....makes the plants frosty and is cheap as all hell.....Ur line up looks good brotha....keep up the good work........Peace

is the name ur lookin for like iguanas blood or something like that? i read up on it a bit, and thats what i found that it has some kind of SAR reactin or something like that, but in all honesty the plant that i am giving it to looks no different than the one with only bud candy. maybe we'll see some change around weeks 5-6 when they start bulking up.

Well ...there is bud blood and iguana juice...both made by AN......Bud blood is a early flower booster that is way overpriced since it is the same as MOAB or Open sesame which are like a 10th of the price...Iguana juice is AN's organic base nute.... What are you using on the one that looks the same as the one using the candy? You will see dramatic changes week to week in flower...The things you do each week are crucial to the quality of the end product....Peace

Im on my second gallon of Bud Factor-x. I want to say it stacked my Sativa's but it could be "Holey shit, Man they grew big last night" But who is to say its not just nature or my other chems and nuts.
Im stopping the full week dose with a third gallon, thats $700 worth.

The hydro guy said I wont be disappointed, I should try this:

Biohrive in MAXIMUM dose
Earth Juice Bloom Master 0-50-30 1/4th dose EVERYDAY.
Bud factor-X (I think half dose) 1000ml per 200 gallons.

Im in the final lap as it will get cool soon and I wanted a little insurance because NO ONE WANTS "AIR BUDS" Cant even give your mids away for free, better off in the hash bag.

Who knows why my buds are so big the plant is busting in half and tipping over? Nature? Luck? My excellent sun or weird Budfactor-x.

Hydro man said it tells the plant its under attack and dying and bugs and cold..
Apparently they have isolated some plant enzyme that makes the plant think its dying and it makes one final huge push of oils and stacks its nuggets.
Although its not dying and it has boat loads of nutrients and sucks and sucks its food and gets BIG.

ITS WHAT IM TOLD DONT HATE ME, I have no idea!

Great way to put it! You can't be more right! Make your own recipes according to your plants needs.
I never go over 1000 ppm. Plants are very happy @ 800-900 ppm.I have been using Bloombastic with MEST Bloom with occasional doses of Connoissuer @ 3-4 ml of each A & B. anything over 1100ppm my leaves will start doing the claw thing which fucking sucks! Makes your plant very unattractive!! I also use Fox Farms Big Bloom religiously!
Plants just love it! I use it for in between my weekly feedings, gives awesome flavor, also starting to like Carboo Load better than Bud Candy. Since Conni has all the aminos.

i use it, it works great, i got it for free from one of the douche bags reps (those people...). and i used in a grow room i shared with my cousins and my la and my pinnapple came out with a lot more tris and smelled way better and taste better too. I used dwc buckets and my base nutes were dm gold, i also used big bud got six ounces off each plant under 1k watts with pure flower(i had 3 plants). this stuff works and great a lot of the idiots on here either used it wrong ( which is probably the case because they were "medicated"). i even went and spend 100$ and bought one L. Im currently using it on my two grow rooms with critical mass and im 5 weeks in and they are frosty. Im using the liquid shooting powder now and its amazing it yellows the shit out of your fan leaves the because it accelerates the absorption of the glucose from the leaves (sugar). You can literally turn any strain into a great strain with the right nutrients( chemical steroids).
