so just took this snippet from my girlie, what u guys think? the trichs seem cloudyish to me....? how long you guys think she is from harvest?

Looks like at least a few more weeks. It still has a lot of new white pistils. How long has it been flowering? What's the flower time for your strain?

Is that 70 days from the 12/12 switch or 70 days from when it actually started flowering? I only ask because I always thought you counted from 12/12, but then I realized/was informed, that it can be several days to a couple weeks before they actually start flowering. Also, from what I've gathered, the suggested flowering times from breeders is always going to be different. If they say 60 days, that means it CAN be done in 60, with optimal, near laboratory conditions.

Yea it can get hard to judge with the breeders flowering time, I know Critical Plus the Breeders say 60 plus days but yet almost everyone pro and noob alike that grow Critical plus say their plant has finished in 45 - 55 days. My Blueberry awhile ago took 2 weeks past the suggested date, also depends on phenotype.

Amen, i always get a laugh out of my girlfriend. I do all the growing, she has no idea how to grow, but when she wants to smoke she some how becomes an instant pro and is the first to let you know that the plant is ready to be cut down even when it has a few weeks left. Growing 101 BE PATIENT !!

You aren't anywhere close to being done. There is no density on that bud its way to puny.

You cant go by the times given by breeders, they are just estimates based on optimal conditions like they have in their greenhouse. Its also the minimum time before the buds are harvestable and going past this date will generally result in fatter riper buds. The only way to know for sure if your plant is ready is by using a loupe or microscope to look at trichrome color, you want about 10% amber 10% clear and 80% cloudy (some people like more amber, some like no amber). You plants look to me like they need at least 3 weeks.

My wife is the same way

If that is from the top or a well lit position on the plant, yeah 2-3 more weeks for sure. If it was part of the bottom "popcorn" buds, you really need to check buds on the higher stuff(without cutting it off) to determine if they are ready to harvest. The stuff on the bottom almost always lags behind your top stuff.

Edit: Also, if you switched before the plant was mature, you may not be 70 days from flower, just from flip. When did your plant start showing flowers/pistils? If 2-3 weeks after the flip, deduct that from your 70 days.
