Bud rot? Advice needed

Has this bud gone moldy or got bud rot? Only part of the plant that had a little brown bud should I snip it off? Any advice would be helpfully.

it’s brown but not what I’ve seen personally..

I’ve had bud rot and it is an infection from within the fruiting buds.. it looks like spiderwebs inside the nugs.
cut it off and cut it open if you are interested..
sadly if it is your fucked.

Fold the affected bud over. If the interior is brown it's probably rot.

Too small for bud rot imo.

it looks like the plant just cut that bud site loose to me. Cut off and discard.

“From my personal experience” I had a similar issue when my seawood solution got onto flowering buds.....(newbie mistake many years ago) it’s a form of mould.
I agree with other guys botrytis; starts in the centre of the bud; you can usually detect that early as you will see some necrosis in the bud leaves; usually you will first see a little brown leaf;!if you pull it and it comes away easily....open that bitch up and cut it all out. Good luck with it
