Bud rot, crisis management

Hi,

Growing a staiva, 8 weeks into flower. I noticed some Bud rot just today. I've decided to trim it up to salvage what I can. So I need to ask experienced growers, what can and cannot be saved.

Notable mold on the main stocks half way down. That's gone. The tops all the way till the middle don't have mold, but has browning in the central areas where they meet the stocks and I can see some particles, larger than tricombs, like white dots. Is this a waste as well? Further down, the buds on independent smaller stocks look clear.

I've realized it's because I stopped using the fan a few weeks back and just had the ac on.

Ouch, that hurt. Hate to see that bud rot. Maybe reevaluate your grow space environment a little for next run. I had this in a greenhouse grow once. But to be fair I had horrible growing conditions but still pulled lbs. All I could do was keep air moving. Daily temps in the gh were 95+ w rh of 90-100%daily.

Yeah totally, just learning the logic of basic indoor growing first hand. So that's why we need air circulation, makes sense now haha. Stoners.

Yeah overkill beats none at all it sucks mate hopefully you never get it again you want your plants always moving around a bit still air isnt good ive never had it in my plants inside only out and seen it on others for future reference botrytis aka bud mould is grey in a dry room and brown if its in a wetter environment just make sure you bleach and clean the hell outta the room everything before the next run starts
