Bud Rot?

While checking out the progress on this Panama today I found some bad news in one of the buds. It appears to be bud rot. I'll give some details and then post a pic.
This is an indoor grow. Currently in week 11 of flower. Friday begins week 12. We have hvac so temps stay around 72-74F and humidity varies from mid 50% to 60%. I just looked and it is 58%.
I keep a fan going, mostly aimed toward the bottom of the plant to provide circulation and keep the fungus gnats pissed off.
Its getting so close to be able to harvest I hate seeing this. I guess my question is should I cut this bud off? I looked at the rest of the plant and don't see anymore problems but cant help but feel like there got to be more.
Hope this pic shows the area good enough. I had to hold branches out of the way with one hand and hold the phone and press the button with the other. Kinda hard to do.
The spot is right in the middle.

Microbe-Lift BMC works great for gnats.

I'll look it up. So far Ive used Gnatrol (BTI) and T-Drops (no idea but expensive), yellow sticky traps and neem/dr. bronners. Of course the wife smacks a few here and there. We've cut their population down a lot but they are hanging tough!
I've heard Gnatrol works good too, but I've never used it.

Well I was hoping I only had the one bud with a problem but just a little while ago I found another. Should I just go ahead and chop this plant early. Friday will be 11 full weeks.

Anyone have any other suggestions other than chopping?

So do you suggest chop now? Can I save any buds that I don't see any fungus? I've read that its dangerous to smoke so how do I know there's not spores in other buds that cant be seen?
Sorry for all the questions.
I'd ditch it if it were me. I know it's alot of work for nothing, but those spores are all over that plant, and you don't wanna be smoking that.

It's bad enough to see botrytis when cracking open the finished buds, but this is clearly way out of control.

Ok. Here's another question. There is another plant in that same room that is in early flower. Should I be concerned about spores getting on that plant and if so, what can I do about it?

Yes... move it out of there. As far as preventing botrytis, get control of your RH in flower. Shoot for 45-50% if you don't have an air scrubber.

Cut out as much of the bud rot as you can, then spray to dripping with a solution of 2 cups water, 1/4 tsp bakers ammonia, and 2-4 drops of dish soap. All fungal problems will be gone.
