Bud rotation in jars?

When you open your jars during curing/drying do you spin the jars to loosen all the buds and get fresh air in there? Try to bring the bottom to the top?

I don't want to damage the buds or lose trichromes, but I am more scared of getting mold. It's humid here, so it's a slower process.

I definitely shake up the jar, and the bud and trichs are too sticky (hopefully) to be affected. No problem, pretend the jar is a Maroca. (Leave the jar open for an hour, then close)

If you shake them loose it won't hurt, always put a Boveda humipack in your jars.

Does the humipack reduce moisture? I have never heard of it.

I have the Boveda 64's, but was going to wait till I got it in the cure zone =< 65RH

Lowers humidity if above 62% and raises humidity if under 62%. Best of both worlds. And you can recharge them and reuse them. They are a must for long term. 62 is the norm

I don't shake/spin them. Every time I burp I dump them out and separate by hand, ( then smoke the shake). I place them back in the jar in a completely different order. I thought everyone did that.

I turn my jars sideways so they're horizontal, then turn the jar around its axis and lightly toss.
Like this....

I do something very similar to grnsrfr except I throw the jars at the wall, pick out the glass then re-jar. Perfect every time.

Sounds like some good shatter. Make sure you use chopsticks to pick the buds up, you dont want to cut your fingers.
My buddy uses this technique, he spreads the broken glass around his plants....it keeps slugs away and provides silica.

Yes bodeva will raise or lower your rh to the level of the pack.

I shake/rotate my jars. After the cure the nice buds get moved to larger containers for storage. I dump out all the keif/shake from the jars, either into a bowl to smoke or into my trim pile for blasting or edibles. Either way, nothing goes to waste.

Yea I shake/turn my jars when they are curing almost every time I burp them. Bodeva's are nice but like toaster D said, like to first get mine in the cure zone for a week or so, then I'll put the packs in for long term storage.
