Bud Size stages

I'm 2 days short of 4 weeks on one of my plants outdoors. What can I expect to see in terms of bud size changing? Do they double in size at this point? Smaller or bigger? First time ever growing and it's been so exciting. I just know the buds shrink dramatically when you harvest and dry so I'm hoping my stuff is going to swell even more :) Thanks!

Depends on genetic make up, flowering time, ect. They should grow but I'd need more info, type of plant strain ect.
