Bud trimmers

Anyone out there DIYing bud trimmers??

I was thinking you could use a barrel fan out of like a forced hot air furnace. Make a couple of slices and bend a tab in so it rides close to the cage, should work, In theory...

tried the forced air fan. at least the one I had had no shaft it was a very weird set up.

Easiest is the spinning blade one. Just need a high rpm electric motor, some wire mesh fencing, a razor blade, some wood or anything to keep the motor upright. Basically, u attach the razor blade to the motor by either soldering it on, or crazy gluing it on. Then stretch the wire mesh fence over the motor. This acts as a buffer so the actual bud doesnt get chopped. Wire up the motor, secure the motor, and then ur done! Turn it on, take your colas and just rol them over the wire mesh. The closer the mesh is to the blade, the closer the cut it to the bud.
