You have nothing to worry about the plants flowers will thicken up towards the end of flowering. Looks like a great grow so far , well done!
Happy Growing! :weed:

Prob wouldn't hurt to clear a few fan leaves to let some light in. Co2 would make a huge difference

i did a day 21 defoliation, Every couple days I pick at it taking a few things off at a time, trying to not stress it out too much there’s a lot of stuff at trellis height I should have taken off. Is it safe to have 1 more good defoliation session? tomorrow will be day 26 since flip
Before defoliation

I guess that's up to the grower, some pick every leaf, some pick none. Most people are scared to pick to many thinking it will hurt it but it doesn't. I try to let mine grow naturally for the most part. Maybe day 1 and 30 or something similar in bloom. There really isn't a solid schedule, clear as you go so the bottom branches get some light too. I'd probably pick a few.

Gonna give the tent 1 last good trim, humidity had been a little high lately and is only gonna get worse going into spring, defoliation seems to be the most controversial subject on these threads so I went somewhere in between lol

Theres a couple of things these leaves help you with.

mobile deficiencies being one. If you remove those leaves it’s going to affect leaves up the plant doing more work. This is why I like to leave my leaves on and just tuck them behind bud sites.

Also these leaves act as a good resource if you ever miss a watering or get the feeding wrong.

Looking lovely man.

Congrats and clean up under the canopy if you haven’t!

Cut any growth that isn’t getting sunlight, indirect is fine as long as it is not completely blocked by the canopy.

Preventative care gives the best results..

First time growing, looking at others grow journals my buds look like they’re really underdeveloped for day 25 of flower. A little worried tbh, the plant in the pic is fairly large 32x24 inches, is that to blame for these little buds?
looks fine - sativa leaning plant . Those will buds stack over time. Dont rock the boat or do something unnecessary to them. Overthinking shit kills many plants.

lookin great! But i wouldn't defoliate a lot at this point, a couple leafs here or there may be fine but if you do a large one you're going to affect your yield and likely run into nute issues like burn. Taking a bunch of leaves will drastically drop the nutrient requirements and will slow down your growth for days.

Is that true for both veg and flower? Best practise then to let the plants drop the leaves when they want?

Always lollipop and get rid of unwanted growth that isn’t beneficial to the overall health of the plant. It deters issues especially with a canopy of that size you want no stagnation in the air.. or you’ll get powdery mildew or bud root.
I cut everything under my trellis.

What if you don't have a trellis? :wall:
