Time to start a new thread for the upcoming year. Running a little behind schedual but ive got the seeds in cups and waiting to sprout. Due to doubts in security I am starting mostly mids seeds. and only starting 7 with good genetics.

growing in MG organic garden soil mixed with perlite, peatmoss, lime, and bonemeal. worked good last year so im going to stick with that again. hopefully things go as smoothly as last year and with better yeilds. probly wont get exiting for another month. hopeing for the best.10-12-11 006.jpg9-28-11 003.jpg9-28-11 002.jpg9-14-11 006.jpg9-14-11 005.jpg8-20-11 007.jpg8-20-11 004.jpg8-15-11 001.jpg Some pics from last year:leaf:

went out to the jungle and tilled all the beds, while i was out there a baby cyote almost walked right up to me. It was a cutie but im glad mama wasnt walking with him. looked like its fur was nice and soft. gotta love mother nature.

at least 5-7 seeds had sprouted as of yesterday so things are getting off the ground.

thats one of my favorive things about growing in the woods all the wildlife u encounter that u wouldnt on a regular day. a couple days days ago i had a woodchuck come though the bushes and come out rite next to me a few feet away, he didnt notice me till the last minute, stopped looked at me and scurried away, i just love when things like that happen,

is that plant 12 foot?
how much did you yield?
nah it was probly close to 9ft tho. all together after throwing out a bunch due to mold, i got less that 4oz dry. My spots got limited sunlight and nutes so it wasnt the best. that big one really only had buds from 4-5 feet up. Im hopeing to have a better feeding schedual this year. thanks for stopping bye.

yea i feel like steve irwin sometimes, last year i would always come across a pack of deer, or cross paths with a cyote or fox. I think ive found a lifetime hobby for sure.

now for the grow, damn near all the seeds have sprouted, and ive been "seed bombing" near my work. really half ass but i found about 100 seeds from 2 years ago and i figured what better thing to do than try and start a wild population. I dont think ill have much success because im just tossing them by the handfull but we'll see what happens. while i was doing that i also saw a great spot to put another guerilla spot or 2. might be a good idea.

Ha, ok. I understand, the 12' means 2012 not 12 ft.

What are the genetics on the 7 good beans?

Have to love momma nature, saw a silver fox few months back, most gorgeous fox I've ever seen!
Just watch out for them deer on your areas! Eat your shit to the dirt!

yea i can see how that 12' can be misleading. just the year.

the 7 good ones are from a buddys grow, he has some g13, and one other kind, i think maybe white widow or NL. and he always gets slight hermies that produce feminized seeds. ive got like 25 from the last few oz i bought. last year i used them and got all females, and pretty nice smoke. not the best as far as yield (lack of nutes and sun) but the quality was all there.

last year i had no probs with deer, they are around but no snacking going on. I hope it stays that way.

Hey bud!, good luck with your grow.
I lost a lot of plants early from deer, so i made chicken wire cages, worked like a charm, but I lost a lot to mold, still worth it tho.
But every year gets better.

thanks owl, and mae.

Ive got 23 of 25 seeds sprouted outside already, and 6 more of the good genetics soaking in a cup of water to get planted this am. (i soak my seeds for 24 hours and just plant them, just as good as germinating just takes an extra day to poke through the soil. 23/25 after 4 days (3rd in dirt) is not bad at all.)
I might even sell 5-10 of the mids seedlings. i see what plant stores are getting for a sprouted tomatoe, theres definatly money to be made. especially if i dont have room to take care of them.

made another trip to the jungle last night and ran into the baby cyote again, this time mama was there. pup ran right past me to put me between her and mama. No violence but i got barked at alot lol. for a second i thought i was going to have to use my barehands to strangle it or something, but it went peacefully. (i walked away)

dug another hole and fillled it half way. within a week i am going to be planting most of them in the ground. its a little early but i gotsta do it.

happy june, i planted another 9-10 good genetic seeds a few days ago, I might just plant all of those and give away the others to friends and fam, ive only got room for 15-20 at the most. i would rather be harvesting good females than dealing with crusty males. Id post some pics but theres nothing special about seedlings.

Put 20 seedlings in the ground, smaller and earlier that i would like to but im going in a buisness trip soon. I just hope most of them make it. I am keeping 7 in my garden just to have backups. hope they take well and survive any bug attacks. Im really feeling "insecure" about this years grow. so im not counting on anything and just hopeing for decent results. ( I ended up planting mostly mids, with a couple of the good ones here and there) and the ones im saving to grow up more are all good ones too.

yea its definitely misleading, especially since that apostrophe is supposed to be in front of the number.. like this.. '12.

Not to mention he is incorrect. Feet and inches are identified by placing ' for feet and " for inches after thenumber.
Good luck this season, sounds good so far.

I am correct. He was abbreviating the year, not a measurement.
