Buds to close to the light!

I have a plant sitting in a recirculating bucket and it is in a tent. I have a 400 watt hps just for the one. Here is the question. My main cola is only like 6 inches away from the light glass but it is air cooled and being pulled out of the tent I also have two fans in the tent as well. If its not to hot cant I let it be that close its not hot at all to the back of my hand cant even tell its their. HElP what should I do.

Well it sounds like you have a great exhaust system that's really pulling the heat through. If it's not too hot for your hand then it shouldn't be too hot for your plants. Just watch those colas closely, It's all about creating that happy medium between heat and light intensity, so it sounds like you're doing it right.

Bro relax, take a deep rip, your cool man I run a 1000 I had that thing so dam close I bleached my leaves, it wasnt hot to the back of my hand ether. Keep an eye on keep those fans blowing and you should be fine, id probly drop thay s o b closer, but like I said I bleached my leaves lol
