Where in the hell am I?

Okay, if this has been adressed, my bad, couldn't find it, and am concerned, so I don't feel like lookng anymore. With that being said, today I noticed either spiders, or mites, or some sort of bug-like creatures running around the soil of my plant. A purple kush clone being grown indorrs and 1/2 way through her estimated flowering time. The bugs are hard to see, small, and appear to be a transluscent brown. Any chance that anyone might have any ideas on the meager info that I'm giving? Also, may be related, yesterday I watered her out of a container that I guess had the smallest amount of milk left in it and the entire room smelled like shit (not the good shit smell that I like). The smell is gone and so far the plant looks fine, 'cept now these bugs

Sounds like fungus gnats to me dude. Sometimes you'll find white larva in the soil if you dig down a little bit. There are plenty of products to help you and it is pretty common.

sounds like spider mites, they will kill the plant if you dont do something. i had them and when i used the spray for spider mites it didn't kill the bugs it killed my plant:evil: i hate bugs. check under your leaves, can you see them under there?

Okay, ty guyss. I sprayed the soil lightly with seven and if there are any more tomorrow I'm going to sift through the top soil. No, there is nothing under her leaves. Though a trippy thing last week one leaf had a drop of what I can only describe as being sap. It was one 1/2 marble sized drop that was clear and (well I simply had to), tasted like sugar water. I didn't start using brown sugar in my water until after that had happened and it hasn't since.

Hopefully the Sevin you used is for vegetables and fruits you don't wanna be smokin' pesticides after all your work. Most plants produce simple sugars to use for energy in various stages of development which make them pretty tasty :)

Ok. i might have the same prob. i have some seedlings going in rockwool under my LEDs they are sitting in a tray on top of the old pots of dirt from the last round and half of the room is filled with hangin bud.
My problem is these tiny little flys or gnats. there black but it looks like there larva is kinda a light brown maybe white. i can see them all over my rockwool cubes and my seedlings. i noticed some flys or gnats about the size of a ball point pen head during harvest. now i have little black shiny balls about the size of a grain of salt in my rockwool.
I really dont wanna have to throw out these seedlings (my only white widow and 2 of my 5 purple lady seeds i have)

any idea what they are and how to get rid of the bastards? i have removed the seedlings from the room but worried about the eggs that might have been laid in the rockwool

PLEASE HELP

I have only 1 comment: Lady bugs+grow room lights=dead lady bug bodies to clean up&happy bastard bugs:cuss: Ladybugs work wonders fer many outdoor growers. I have yet to meet 1 indoor grower who has used them and been happy. Just my 2cents, tho:-o

Throw about a inch of sand on top of your soil so the mite eggs cant hatch and kill everything remaining with a spray. I hear that a little bit of veg. oil with water in a spray bottle can help. Best to you.
