Bugs!

Dawn dish soap? Not too sure on the specifics of dish soap with cannabis, but I would have to say that is not a great idea. Correct me if I'm wrong, I've never heard of using soap on your weed, but it just seems like a bad idea.

Dont use soap any chemicals are bad for the plant, i had those white things before and i took em off with my finger and they never reappeared, but my plant was small so if yours is big i would recommend buying bug spray

I had some aphids pop up during my first grow...which I just finished and sampled! I used Ortho elements household pest killer from home depot. Its made from some soy protein and usually used on tomatoes, so its safe to eat(inhale) and around pets. I sprayed the soil around the base of the plant and it seemed to work as all the little buggers vanished.

By the way does anyone know where they come from??? Are their eggs in the soil and then hatch? Thats what I'm thinkin

Well .... speaking from experience , I would say that soap and water is your best bet. I do this and I have not had any bugs what so ever for 6 harvests now. No bugs , no Hermies .
Thats how the Hippies have done it for years. There were no hydro shops with over priced chemicals around. During Veg , I spray my girls with the soapy water every three days. I then keep fans moving the air at all times. Soap is the BEST answer.

i have a fruit fly or knat problem there in the soil it seems like and fly leaf to leaf but so signs of them eating the plant but i dont want buds infested with em either sum one with knowledge please help a buddy out

you need to take your mother out and totally clean the room out spray the plants with the mild soappy water. Take your mother into your bathroom set her in the tub and spray the shit out of her with water knocking all the bugs off into the tub and down the drain. Dadio is right the mild dish soap works great doesnt hurt your plants. If you had spider mites and you got neem oil its recommended that you mix the neem with dish soap cuz the neem is so sticky. Dawn is enviorment friendly they use it to clean up plants after oil spills and to clean up the ducks and birds. Good growing shadyMT

i used 5 drops in a quart of water and they died instantly. I misted the hell outa the room and found a dead spider afterwards.

Something about the soap kills bugs. quick.

I inspected every plant and they seemed to mainly be on one, and that one only had like ~10 at most. Hopefully I caught it early enough.

i don't see them in my flower room, it's probably 75ft away and I hadn't moved anything between rooms in a month or so....

hopefully I'm good, otherwise I'll order some lady bugs. dawn works great though if anyone wanted to know...

Dawn detergent is an excellent bug-killer. i use it for flea baths for the dog. soap and water is the best and first line of defense.

sulfer power works better on dogs, its prevention....makes them stink though...but cheaper than $15 a month frontline...

i meant the Dawn is the best and first line of defense with the garden bugs. the dog gets frontline.......he smells bad enough.

azamax, ladybugs, habinaro pepper spray...good luck...i got spidermites and threw my whole grow out, bombed the place (dr doom), and added azamax to the feeding schedule of my new grow. no more bugs. good luck

unless you have 4 dogs (the security team)... then frontline becomes expensive ($750 per year) vs $15 worth of sulfer powder...

All this speculation on how to control the pest but, not jack shit devoted towards first identifying the actual pest. Post a pic of the problem, then, the community would have a better idea on how to address the problem.
