Built a light barrier. In put?

I built a light barrier with black trash bags and rods due to my neighbors light. So far my plants are budding but the light is on at night all random hours of the night. He has a fluorescent security bulb. His light to my garden is about 75+ feet but when the light is on it illuminates my plants and they cast shadows will this bother anything? Or should I just stick the light barrier up at night just to make sure. So far I have no hermies their still female but i dont want to risk anything.

u guys suck lol. Anywhoo i put the light barrier up. blocks 99.9% of the light hitting my ladies.

I think its a good idea.
