Title pretty much says it all. Some leaves have bumps on them, same leaves will have white shiny/glossy patches, more so concentrated at higher growth. I appreciate any insight ahead of time

Do the white patches rub off? What medium are you in?

They do not rub off, I'm using FFOF in a 10 gallon pot. Ive never seen this before, nor any pics like this online

Additional info, I'm leaning towards this being a pH imbalance or directly related to their being hot spots in the soil. One mistake I know I made was transferring it into the 10 gallon pot too early. The roots are probably just now reaching the outer edges of the pot. I also had to buy a new PH tester because mine was reading innacurate. I did a flush before switching to flower that brought the runoff to 500 ppm. So I was a bit perplexed when this problem started after the flush.

I'm pretty confident it's not a pest problem. Definitely not aphids however.

This is why I asked about medium. Barring insects I would suspect pH as a possible cause. How do they look today?

my lights don't turn on for another 8 hours, but seeing as the problem has been there for a couple of weeks, they'll probably look relatively the same. I'm wondering since so much of my medium was untouched by roots for so long, that there may be pockets of improperly pH'd medium. I thought me flushing with properly pH'd water would alleviate this problem tho. I've even started double-checking my pH meter with the pH strips just to verify

Retained salts. I don’t flush myself because the few times I did in response to overfertilizing I ended up with issues like this. No white spots but lumpy weird leaves. Weird texture to them.
Is the newest vegetation similarly affected?

Hmmmm no shit. Brotha I really appreciate that insight. And the problem is actually directed more so at newer growth and newer fan leaves.

From the pH shift was my guess when it happened to me and only because other RIU members brought it up. In fact it’s probably when I started paying attention to pH in peat mixes. Of course nothing can prove this until the issue begins to disappear. Aerate the medium with something long and thin. Be sure to pierce repeatedly under the plant through the hardened mass that will be there. It helps oxygen reach there but also helps get water into it to help free retained salts.

Thank you my dude! I will begin aerating soil when the lights turn on tonight, it will still be a little while until it's next watering but I will definitely post an update after the fact.
