Has anybody ever used the burlap shading material that can be bought at Home Depot or Lowes to shade plants. Im in Southern California and the heat is getting up close to 100 degrees. So I built a box around my plants and tacked a sheet of the burlap shade stuff to the top, from the looks of it I think the plants should still recieve enough light but will this cut to much light that it will really affect buds. I only been trying this for 2 days now. My plants start to get direct sun light at 8:30am-4:00pm but by 12:30-1:00pm the temps are at 95 degrees so thats when I cover with the shade material.
