Buy another 100W light or upgrade to a 350 or 400 LED?

Currently growing with a 100Watt Spider farmer LED. But thinking of adding another light in there, another 100W making it 200W in total, thinking it would be beneficial because I can raise each light according to the growth of that particular plant (Growing 2 x White Widow Autos) but I am also thinking of using the 100W for seedlings/veg and just going all out and buying a 300/400 watt LED.

Current setup: Spider Farmer 60x60x120 tent with 100w SF1000

What would people's opinion be? 2 x 100W or go for the bigger light?

I'd recommend getting a bigger light, but make sure it's a high quality unit.

Growing with more smaller led's has it's perks. Like you have already mentioned, adjusting the height for each individual plant is ideal. It's easier financially when starting out. It's a bit of a safety net if a light breaks your not totally pooched. I was able to get more GPW this way. 100w per plant seemed ideal from my experience. I ended up winning a larger light here on RIU otherwise I would still be rolling with multiple 100w leds.

You said your tent is 60x60, is the cm or inches lol ? A 2x2" tent won't need 300/400 watts.

You dont have to choose like that really. If in the us get board + sinks from HLG and run with a completely adaptable option. One driver for all boards, make it big enough. For anything smaller than 3x3 or 4x2 you can do a 320 driver. Its the easiest shit to do ever. Some screws and pushing a wire into a connector. It will give you the flexibility youre after for a comfortable sum, aswell as allowing you to upgrade later.
