Buying new lights need advice!!!

Hey, I am looking to upgrade my light situations in my 2x4 grow tent. Both lights will be a seed to flower light and I will be going with 3000k spectrum.

I have looked at all the options and for my price point which is under 400 cad all in.

What do you think of these two options?

I am looking at some quantum boards and HLG is double the price of Meijiu and they have great reviews online.

E-bay has a lot of mean well driver quantum board options well within your price range I couldn't pull up your option #1 but I'm assuming its a spider farmer qb??? have a friend using one right now & is happy with it let us know what you get

My local buy and sell has 400 watt MH/Hps ballest,shade and buld for usally under 100bucks.I got one for free last spring.
Even 315 cmh are pretty cheap.Would grow the shit out of that tent!Anyway thought id mention it.Good Luck.

How much dose it cost you to run a MH/HPS per year... I am thinking the light will pay for itself in my electricity savings alone. As I have a small place and most of the tent electrics are being pulled from same plug I would be scared with MH i would be blowing fuzes all the time

Option 1 is actually from a Chinese Quantum Board company called Meijiu... my feeling is they make the spider farms lights but at a lower cost as the spider farms are all the same models as theirs.

The company has great reviews on Reddit and other growing sites so I was considering giving it a shot over the SP 250 because it is twice as wide and better penetration i would hope.

Option D... I run a 600w hps, 315 cmh, humidifier, sewage pump and big ass fan all from same outlet. Dont worry about your breaker...
To me, CMH is hands done the best from seed through flower all in one light... after some testing I rate my 315 cmh @ a 500w HPS/MH equivalent btw...

Look at BC blondes 340 or 680 before you make that purchase...

The BC blonds seem to be very similar and over double the price. Is there a good reason that they are that much better. The BC blond is 700 compared to the meijiu with almost the same specs at 300

I mean I am in BC so that would be ideal but hlg is also in Vancouver however again they are well over 2* the price of the meijiu

Actually I've enjoyed myself for the last few nights. I went onto alibaba and started taking a look at what was there and there was a lot! Maybe it's worth the experiment to see if the lights from China are any good or not. Some of them offered sample prices which were even cheaper. I also saw some people on that sites saying names like "Spyder" or "HLG V3". The cob lights were neat to see. Some of those single cobs like the optic 1 were there for $20. Scratch my head. You don't know so maybe try sampling with the companies that offer that? Best of luck.
