Cabinet ventilation question

Please bear with me I'm an extreme noob. As a matter of fact I'm still trying to plan how to build my grow cabinet for my 1st time. Thanks to all for so much information already. I feel like my head is spinning from all the reading and learning so far. So I'm building a small office in the basement and custom building a grow cab. My ideal size will be 3' deep by 4' wide and up to the ceiling (just under 8') but it isn't set in stone. The picture included shows the clone area on top at about 18" the veg/flower area on the bottom at about 5' and a middle space at about 8-10" I'm assuming in a small area like this heat will be an issue without an air cooled tube/hood so I plan on using that with a hps 600 bulb. I also would like to vent through the middle compartment and then come out thru the floor of the clone area, and out the top on the other side of the chamber. Thinking about how to do this has got me slightly bugged out on losing a ton of space with all the separate vent hoses and a zillion fans (I already planned on having an intake fan and a good exhaust fan but now it seems I need to add 2 more fans with the cool tube thing. I already figure there's no way around another intake fan for the air cooled hood, but has anyone tried to use one powerful fan (I was thinking maybe an 8" inline) to exhaust the cool tube and the grow space by attaching some kind of splitter so both can exit thru the same exhaust fan. I hope this makes sense. If not, tell me I f'd up on explaining and I'll try again.

are you trying to keep everything in the cab? Or can you have devices like fans and such sticking out of the outside?

Yeah I forgot to mention that. I'm going for extreme stealth even though the kid won't be allowed in the office, because kids don't listen.

I could put the fan for exhaust outside the cabinet since I'm building some upper cabinets that could butt into the grow cabinet, but then it seems like the airflow might be hindered. I was thinking more along the lines of venting out the top leaving the top of the cabinet a few inches from the ceiling...My brain hurts!

Ok, I have a question? what is the 8"-10" area in the middle for? can you put you fans in that area?
Or how about if you put Two passive vents in the 10" area? meaning that you have a flush mount vent on the right side another flush mount on the left side so light dosnt get into your flower room when its lights off time but still allows for removal of heat and then vent out of the top cab with a fan. With this you will want some type of passive vent along the bottom of your flower cab. I think you would still want to run a vented hood or cool tube though in that area with a 600w hps. I hope you understand what I am saying? kinda hard to explain into words.
I am a noob but just throwing out suggestions.

Here's how i would do it. I took the liberty to add a screen :p, I would make something you could do height adjustment on.cabinet.jpg

oh yeah a passive intake on the top too, forgot to draw it in. If you are worried about smell from the veg/clone box you can maybe do a light proof passive intake from the main box, but keeping negative pressure venting outside from both boxes might be an issue.

Actually a better idea possibly would be to just have light proof holes in the bottom of the clone box and just the one exhaust on the side of the main box that vents everything.

I was running theducting through the middle with two 90' turns for light proofing. As far as the fans I see what your saying I'll have to look in to that.

Thanks

Here's my newest drawing I came up with right before I saw this. I was hoping by flipping the flower box to the top I could get a fan to vent the hood with a strong fan and leave the other opening meant for the ducting open and hopefully suck everything from the bottom intake all the way through the box and out the hood.
