Hi all, sorry I can't upload any photos atm as lights are out but will do as soon as they are back on.
Basically I'm in the 2nd wk of flower and my plants are showing what I believed to be cal/mag deficiency, we do live in a relatively hard water area (230-250 ppm) @ 8.4 ph,
I'm growing organically and have been lowering my pH using bio bizz organic pH down to(6.5ph) I know it's soil and it sorts itself out but couldn't see any harm in giving it the correct pH.
Temps are 77 lights on & 70 lights off, 53 rh, watering every 2 days as soil is dry (top 3 to 4 inches) pots are lighter too.
Anyway I'm wondering if having slightly hard water could actually be causing an overdose of calcium instead of what I thought was a deficiency and i turn causing lockout?
Is 250 ppm tap water too much for them?
Plants are light green with some browning on the leaves, I've had her under a scope and can't see any bugs.
I do have an ro system running in our house but didn't want to go through the shit of adding all the cal/mag etc, wondering whether to dilute my tap water down with the ro water to bring the ppm down. What you all think?
