Cali Connection Strains Need Input

Ok I have been against CC for awhile now because of all the hermie reports and I have had some beans turn hermie on me but they were feminized beans. I want to give it another try with regular beans but want to get some report before I purchase. Strains that caught my eye is Tahoe OG, Buddha Tahoe Og, Jedi kush, and 818 Headband. From the people that have grown these strains what was your hermie rate with regular beans? I plan to buy 2 packs of 10 and grow them out and select best male and female to make beans so I never have to buy again.

Out of those strains, I got 2 packs of the buddha tahoe(regs) and one pack of the jediKush, a week and a half into flower. I'll def lettu know what happened(as far as balls go) in about a week k ;-)
Or quote me if I forget please :bigjoint:

Thanks because Im really close to just buying a pack and trying for myself. I want to do a pack of either Tahoe or Buddha Tahoe og from CC and Dutch Passion Blueberry.

I'm gonna be staking and twist tying shit up this weekend sometime. I clean up the bottoms a bit, and look for balls then. I'll get back soon.

I apologize if this is a stupid question, but why would you even be considering CC if you have personally experienced problems with the breeder? I know there have to be better breeders for genetics if you're planning a seed project..

Hell, what do I know though..

F1 crosses are typically not stable, you might want to keep some extra pollen and backcross your best female F1 with your original badass male pollen to lock down those traits so you have some decent stable genetics

I have had issues with feminized beans from them. From the reports I have read I have not really seen any people have a lot of problems with Tahoe.

The Tahoe and 818 are dank. And in many dispensaries on the west side. I dunno, I'm still iffy about them from the hermie problem too, but the Tahoe and 818 would be the best choice, I think swerve took his time with those

Between me and my pals, we have grown many of CC's gear. And many of Dna/RP's gear. I am far more afraid of Dna/RP strains being hermie, especially in the last couple yrs. I'll still pheno hunt here and there from both though, because i guess i'm a glutton for punishment:-)

For sure, there will be hermies in strains by any breeder, potentially. It hhappens when we play God with plants. The Larry og I just finished is cali connection, and it is dank as hell, soo good! Just not a keeper. But cc does have some tight gear and some gems

only grew 1 fem'd buddha tahoe, no hermie issues.... If you grow the buddha and get the super indica looking phenos (fingers of leafs are super fat and grow bigger than your hand) you will be much satisfied with the results. I've seen other buddhas that yielded better, more sativa, but the cut I found resembles the original mother, spitting image of her from the picture.

Ok, results are in on the 2 packs of regular buddha tahoe:
12 females, only 2 of them had 4-5 balls each. 1 had a questionable 2 balls, lol. Not bad at all. But naturally those 3 plants are definately NOT going to be considered when choosing a pheno to keep. I hope I find a good pheno. Because I sure do miss the original tahoe cut that I had many yrs back.
I haven't done the jedi yet, but looking in on them(as good as I can rite now), I don't see any balls, so it can't be that bad.:-)
