Calmag question

I been feeding calmax @4-5ml per gallon since mid veg + advanced nutrients 3 part at low ppm most feedings, using filtered water with 0-90ppm start since switching half of em over to Gaia green, there happy as of now but I believe I’m overloading on cal rn wit the supplement + top dressing? I have it written in my book as day 1 of flower was April 4th but On the 3rd I seen a tiny pistil on 1 plant so I’m going wit day 19 for most em..(6 days after flipping to 12/12) anybody have issues wit P lockout from excess calcium? I heard it’s rare but I donno why else all my plants began to inhibit what looked like root rot to begin with then I come to a conclusion had to b a cal overload so I flushed them all two days ago with only 1ml calmax per gal and there all praying again happy as can be, there buckets are still fairly heavy though I fed em 2 days ago, yellowing underneath has stopped. Any suggestions for calmag? Like I said my filtered water ain’t got much if any in it to my knowledge

If your water has 90 ppm to begin with, you probably don't need much CalMag.

Btw the top dressing was done April 12th and maybe it took longer to inoculate is why I was getting yellowing quick underneath? But I’m thinking too much calcium with the top dress

I think it was 90 before it got filtered in 2014 and now it’s 0 .. not sure but my plants r very happy and stacking pretty decent for 19 days of flower since only putting 1ml per gal of it, they were showing potassium deficiency in all of them but I have different nutrient regiments advanced 3 part for 4 of em and 4 been top dressed April 12th n 1 was done April 16th I believe .. I plan on re top dressing day 28-30 of flower since it’s gorilla zkittlez n blue cheese 65+ days a piece far as I know, and 8bball kush says 50-55 so I’m gonna hope they go 60+ as well .. I need a bit of strain help here lol

U think feeding the tablespoon per gal of molasses back to back mite of had sumthin to do wit causing the overload along wit full strength cal-max?

There starting to frost up quick and I thought I was day 19-20 yesterday til I checked the book lol, btw got 8tbsp power bloom an 5-6 tbsp 4-4-4 per 7gal fabric. 37-38 days from sprout til they began to flower, anybody wanna give sum insight on potential yields? 9 plants 6 vegged 38 days small 3 for 30 days. Under two. 600w HPS cooltube 77-79 on temp 42-46% RH on ,52- with lights off.. off temp 63-66

That's a very very similar grow to my current one, and we are at very close timeframes, both for vegging and flowering. I vegged slightly longer, about 42 days, from seed, and I am also running 4 (brand new) 600watt HPS bulbs, Hortilux and Ushio. I'm running a bunch of new to me strains so I don't know how I am going to fare yet. One of those lights is over an experimental aeropnic run with General Hydroponics nutes....the other 13 are in 7g bags of super soil. Friday will be 3 weeks since I flipped the lights.

I'm gonna say you should have a good pound! and then some!! I'm hoping for 2+

Nice, so you have much more square feet than me then since your running four 600s I assume? I have a 5x5 tent so 25 square feet with the two 600s side by side bout 20” from the glass above the canopy.. a big standing oscillating fan in the corner a humidifier so it stays above 39% RH in there cuz I struggle without that and I also have a gallon misting humidifier outside by my air intake.. you say you run general hydroponics 3 part flora? I started my plants on advanced and voodoo juice an started em on big bud day 6-7 of bloom then switched over 5of 9 to the Gaia green dry ammendments from distilled water wit the 3part base.. there finally nice n happy the first week or so was kinda ruff I’m guessing it’s the excessive calcium. Gonna continue to feed same thing for them ones and for the advanced girls they got the 1ml calmax per gallon plus 800-850ppm few days ago and there stacking on heavily just the same as the Gaia girls, I’m gonna up them to about 1000ppm and then next watering just 2ml calmax + 1Tbsp molasses. Repeat 1050-1100 next run if I feel the need or maybe stay at 1000 all depends.. I have a 2KG if powerbloom coming in a few days I already went thru a 500gram of it to top dress 5 plants man there’s only 131tbsp in a 2kg an it takes 14tbsp per plant , crazy.. I gotta keep at least 2-3 of em on straight advanced w/big bud so I can compare it vs the Gaia green.. you say a pound between the 9 eh? Hoping for a pound off my biggest 6 Barney’s farm strains and 2.5 ish oz off the 3 small blue cheese but I’m happy wit 15-16oz off everything..a pound tho would only equal 0.33 grams a watt that’s why 1.5LB seems a lot nicer of a ratio, guess it’s all how dense the nugz get rite. I have an off temp fairly low sumtimes goes down to 63 but it heard that’s what hardens up those nugz n bring out the fall colours in em so

Yes, I'm only running the GH 3 part in the aero setup...Those plants only got vegged 21 days, but are as big as the soil plants. The soil plants are water only, in super soil... I just top dressed them and they may need a bit of nutes before they are done.

And yes, 1 pound is a low estimate for you....that's a lotta light in a 5 x 5 tent, for sure! You could certainly beat my estimate!!

I have never used molasses, but heard good things! Best of luck to you...Hopefully we'll be smoking good this summer!!

Yazzie this is what they looked like about a week before flowering in those two pictures, the pic of the nug is slurricane I believe it’s what I was smoking on 3-4 weeks ago when the pics were taken lol smokin on sum snickerdoodle rn and I found two bag seeds in it man and it’s super high grade facility nug! Fuckin pumped two big tiger striped ones I germinated 1 and it’s up already I’m gonna try her outdoors here in Canada n cut clones off her b4 she flowers n hopefully they take so I can run her inside she’s super minty/cookies tasting ..hopefully it don’t run past October 10th or so but it don’t rly matter cuz ima put her in a 18-30gal tote an i’l put her inside at night if I hafto.. And it’s like AAAA+ quality it said cookies n cream x granddaddy purple (snickerdoodle) on the bag being curious I looked up “snickerdoodle” like I do all strains I’m smoking n all I can find on it is one lil write up saying cookies n cream x purple punch (granddaddy purp x Larry OG) is snickerdoodle so it leads me to believe it’s a homemade cut probly a prized pheno that just dropped a couple seeds before it got chopped in a last effort to reproduce for next year an I was lucky enuff to get a couple! They look feminised afffff and germinated in like 20 hrs dude.. bro those r my outdoor strains ima run this year btw the realgorillaseeds freezeland crosses only one I’m missing is the MOB x Freezeland IBL

They didn’t gimme my 3pack FEM Eleven Roses I ordered from delicious seeds through realgorillaseeds tho but there sending me a pack, there claiming they sent it tho ffs I hate that shit..c in the picture it looks like there’s only 5 lemonades in my 6 pack and there’s a hair in it too, I found the 6th one it was wedged in the side but not before msging freaking out that 1 seed gone , a hair and 3 pack gone too lol comedy there re sending my shit now tho thank fucken god

How tall is ur plants? I got an 8ball up past 30” in height like 31.5 I think but there stretch is done only got an inch or two left if that.. The 3 gorilla zkittlez r between 23.5-27” I believe , I was scared of em tripling on the stretch so many ppl on that dumb shitttt haha so I flipped the lights when they were between 15-18” an they barely went up they just packed on solid mass bud wise.. the tall 8ball pheno was 21.5” beginning of flower grew 10” so far bout 1/3 and that’s a normal stretch ratio I donno why I listen to noobs talking triple height from beginnnig of flower til the end it’s like whaaaaat maybe with a pure sativa it will double? But not my 60/40 GG4 crosses and a 100% afghan indica i had a 600w MH in there with the other 600w HPS first 9 days of flower too.. also good luck to you on your grow man how many square feet u got ? Pic is of my off temp it drops almost immediatly from 78-79 lights on and stays between 63-67 soon as lights go out an RH rises from 40 ish to 50-52%..half hour b4 lights go out I can c the humidity start to rise as they slowly go to sleep

Plants have stretched to between waist high and chest high. 8' x 12' room with 6 lights, but I am only using a portion of the room with 4 lights currently..and trying a mix of the Ushio bulbs for the first time.

I had powdery mildew the past 2 runs so I incorporated an IPM with Regalia, Venerate, and Armor Si, and knock on wood, they are doing great this time. And that's why so many different strains for me...Trying to find a few good ones again, as i lost everything from the PM.
