Its better to deter then to camaflouge, make sure there are NO trails going to your grow, and if there is plant some poison ivy on them, and try to make the trail go the other way, + make the old trail look like there never was a trail by putting dead stuff and plant matter on it, if your growing in a huge open space, add some other plants around there, like shrubs? Shrubs, oh and bagged trees! They might be expensive but if you want to reuse this spot it could be worth it. If the spot is a really open spot helicopters might fly over so add a bunch of plants such as tomatoes and peppers so it just looks like regular forest from above.

No but they are green, and if they see huge spaces in the middle of a forest they are going to look, if they see just green they probably will not look twice.

my best idea was to eather find a dead animal or kill one, goto the hunting store and buy a small bottle of snunk musk... empty bottle on the dead possem , or whatever you find. the smell and site of a dead thing will keep 99% of people away. im not sure if even a scavenger animal would touch it with a ton of snonk smell on it

I have grown in the middle of a trailer court by growing plant among a bunch of pea plants and training plant onto the pea trellis. What you need to realize ( see invisible gorilla test ) is that people are not looking for pot plants, and thus those hidden in plain sight go undetected. The only problem I had with trailer park grow was that marijuana was still maturing well after pea plants had died ( talk about a month of sweating bullets ). But that is an additional testimony to how blind people are that a plant with huge smelly colas went undetected because all the neighbors were used to seeing pea plants. I also did a green house grow with neighbors only 30 feet away, and they never noticed ( even though this was a glass green house ) because I painted green and red styrofoam balls and hung them on plants. By circulating the balls around, at a casual glance, plants appeared to be tomato plants ( neighbor's mind accepted this as it was the most expected thing to see ) and they were being harvested as new tomatoes came on.

B.A.L.L.E.R.......HOLY CRAP....thats ingenious and funny all in one boat...its amazing what you can do in plain sight...and so true that the most obvious is so unnoticed....push a shopping cart of food out of a store and see if some one stops you ha ha ...who would expect it lol....jkjk

denofearth69 ; That was a great inspiration, made me laugh, now I have to clean my evening tea off of my lap top. I flew low level for years, so maybe I could be of some help here. Nature is random, never symmetrical, but maybe you can use this to your advantage along fence rows and ditch banks. Stay away from power line right of ways, they are constantly air and ground patroled for condition and obstructions. Use shadow to your advantage, things look a lot different in the morning than in the evening with the sun in my eyes. A bald ridge top really stands out from the air,but just over the crest, down the western evening sun slope, with some light shade might be a better choice. Hope that helps you al'

some really good ideas. But I do wonder about the tomatoes and such in a forest. But I get what you mean. Blend in other plants.
