What operating system are you using and what version? Do you have a USB connection (cable to connect camera to your computer)?

Download Irfanview (Google it, free download). Get the plug-ins. It should work for any basic photo manipulation needs you have.

I have a Samsung NV15 camera and it did come with software that sucks.
I use a Kodak program (Kodak Easy Share) that was already installed on the computer. It works real easy. I use the USB cable that came with the camera to load pics on the computer. There are plenty of "viewers/players" that do the same thing.
By the way a driver is basically a kind of software that the computer uses to reconize/use your camera. I don't remember if I needed a new/different driver as it was probably on the computer already.
Once you get them on the computer you can use the blue "Manage Attachments" button below the posting box.
I hope this helps.

I hope you can get the camera up. Look on the website for the 800 number to samsung they will probably send you a new booklet. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

nahh dude you dont need that. If your running XP, vista or the newer mac then it should just pop up when you plug it in. Can you get it plugged in, if so what does it say on your desktop. tell me what model your camera is and whats your op system then i could give you a bit more info

Yes, Windows comes with a couple of proggies for viewing pix.
hey i downloaded irfan, how exactly do i get the pictures on it, thanks alot
If your camera is plugged in, or your card reader (whatever you're using), then a dialog box will come up asking what program you want Windows to use. Just select Irfanview and there ya go.

Some will work, some won't. You might want to upgrade to Win2K before you try XP, though, it's definitely different and in some ways can be more difficult to work with than Win2K.

That figures..I have XP here..I just don't know how to install...I know it says just insert and follow prompts, but I'm computer illiterate..and I'll bet it jams up on me and I'll get screwed.......oh well.........sigh :(

stick the disk in and go from there. its not hard trust me. 98 sucks, windows 2000, me and nt, and vista can lick my balls. XP is the best its not hard, stick the disk in and go from there.

I disagree, XP is a pain in the ass. Unfortunately, too much software wants to be on XP. At least with Win2K you don't have it making quite as many decisions for you as with XP. Networking is easier, too. Networking in Vista..? Oh my fucking GOD, forget about it! And they CHARGE PEOPLE for that piece of shit operating system. You're dead ON about ME, and NT, too.

In my opinion, drop all the fuckin' Windows shit and go with open source. Linux all the way, baby! :D I really love my Ubuntu, even better than Gentoo, which I loved way better than Red Hat (7. if that tells you anything).
