Hello All
Im a lurker but have a question for anyone who's into Hempys.... I like the simplicity of the system and looks dummy proof it all helps for a newb like me.
I found some black storage buckets perfect for future gardening but they are 29cm (almost 11.5") deep well 49(L)x38(W)x29(H)cm If I SOG with them the clones wont have had much time to veg before flipping and Im wondering about root growth now and moving the drainage hole further up any thoughts?? any thoughts as to the number of clones to cram in a tub that size SOG?? I was thinking 11 or am I dreaming?:?:

I've used the hempy system in a past grow. I actually used multiple 20oz cups instead of big buckets, veged them for 2 weeks then flipped to 12/12. If you're looking for a small SOG i would recommend looking into doing it this way. I would think that you COULD put a few girls in the same bucket but not that many. They will prob run out of root space before they are done. Either way you choose to go, stick to the traditional method to the letter. Also, watch out for excess salt buildup later in the grow, make sure to flush every now and then or it will lock out all the good stuff and she won't fully mature. good luck
DSCN0676.jpg here's a pic of what im talking about. Please note that i was not paying ANY attention to PH or salt buildup at the time of this pic, so they should have looked a lot better. But we all love and learn, right?
