hey i read some where that premium potting soil is good to use and i was gonna get some scotts premium potting soil but it sais feed up to 4 months and i dont know if thats good or bad or should i get some that only last about 2 months?

Where are you at? Fox farms, happy frog... But if you can get it get roots organic... And dont rely on the soil to have enough nutes to get quality smoke either, you'll need fertilizers

saw it at walmart and yea that what i thought thanks for the help and i just saw someone say pro organic mix is good is this true?

If you can try to get fox farm happy frog or ocean forest.Both are top notch.What ever you do get organic not those time released nutrient ones.

Stay away from the BIG brands such and scotts miracle grow ANYTHING. i have been using Fox Farm ocean forest for years now and have tried others but have always come back

Yikes. Don't go there.

Grow a set and go to a growing store. Lots of good premium pot soil out there and the cheapest is rarely the best.

If you have to choose something that's for potting flowers, stay away from anything that isn't organic and anything that already has nutrients in it.

Really, let the pot nutrients you buy do the work for you. Don't rely on crappy soil. You need to put in some work.
