so i started my 2nd indoor grow. 3 unknown kush plants. they are about 3 weeks old from seed... now my 1 plant seems to have slower growth and its also got scattered light green patches, almost like rust spots except its light green. still looks healthy but has slow growth while the other 2 are thriving and ahead by 1 set of leaves. has anyone had this befor or know what it is?

If you dont want to post a pic or cant, look for one on the net that best represents your plant and post it. There is too many variables and you could end up getting bad advice.. Growth rate could be genetics, spots could be anything. A pic really helps..

il try to get pics up. dont have an HD camera no more so i gota use my phone and transfer... but the genetics should be the same no? its all the same strain. i was told they were feminized quality kush. but never told me what kind of kush lol ( i cant get a hold of em)... but ive never seen this befor. il try n post pics when i have time. but it the meantime heres extra info
- pro mix soil ---> vermiculite, peat moss and i dont know the rest lol but i know it contains no nutrients.
- for veg i have a 2part liquid formula (no need to talk about flower) ive only fed once at half strength so far
- 400 watt MH
-18/6 light cycle
- temps around 25 to 30 C

without really knowing and just shooting in the dark I would re-pot the stunted plant, flush and maybe add a little hydrogen peroxide to break down any possible root buildup..

Keep in mind, my advice is based on nothing other than the plant sounds stunted... I would recommend scouring the internet until you find a similar problem someone else had and apply what resolved that issue.. jmo and best of luck

true lol see the shitty thing is.. i never said anything about my 4th plant lol. its the same kind but its in a small tupperware container, its doing well with no problems just like the other 2. it was a test to see its size/yeild in a small containter. lol i could easily transplant this one into the bigger pot but i dont wana lose that plant cause the roots are probly everywhere by now. couldnt possibly put it into that small plastic container... i dont think its stunned cause its still growing, just slightly smaller than the other 3. il leave it be and see what happens. btw i use britta filtered water

ok so i got some pics up. they arent the best quality but still clear. you will be able to tell the first 2 pictures are of the one thats got the light green "rust" spots, it has slower growth and is smaller than the rest. other pics are of my 3 plants that are doing fine. (in the group shot. the effected plant is furthest to the right... so has anyone come across this befor?

Yo I use Pro-mix to and i grow kush. Your soil is way to dry. Never let it get that dry. You shouldnt have wet/dry cycles. Never fertilize on dry soil like that. Pro-mix does contain a wetting agent, dolomite lime, cal lime, perlite and 75% in weight peatmoss.mycrise. I use Bx and never heard of vermiculite in it. Maybe thats HP?
As with seeds comes weaklings. Ive had seeds that have three sets instead of two.
Kush is good for clones only IMO.
Just like people. There are some ugly ones. Thats why we clone from the best looking. Get some clones.
Im from BC and pro-mix is all i use. Sunshine mix is better for outdoors.

thanks for the help. lol i love bc ( "if we busted 1 grow op a day for an entire year we would still be no where close to an end - quote by BC mp ) anyway back on topic lol... my soil only looks dry on the surface, its acually still moist underneath. and also ive ALWAYS been told to let your soil dry out at least an inch deep befor watering. "rule of thumb".... also i thought vermiculite was the little white rocks? .. so i guess il see if she grows. if i dont like her il throw her out and clone another one or transplant my test one in small container

Thats perlite. That rule of thumb is for soil. Not soilless. Soilless is a passive hydro system. Similar.
But ill leave the watering up to you. But i gave you my opion.
I dont even think they get one a day. one a week

true. thanks for the help bro (+ rep)... i water about once or twice a week. i love pro mix!! it drains amazing and holds moisture. the quality diff is night and day. my last grow i used schultz all purpose natural potting mix. it worked but shit was rock hard. barely had drainage and when it was time too feed it was still wet. i think that was the result of my1 plant being harsh tast smoke from last grow. lack of proper flush and ph fluctuation befor harvest. i dont sell. just keep for myself, the plants root system in that soil stressed it cause i found 3 seeds so far (smoked bout 30 grams)

:blsmoke: You probly just over fed, consitering shultz or any "soil" is hot and should be fed at half strenght every other watering. AND Rule of thumb to flush for 10 days + And cut N back for the last 3 weeks.
The seeds may be from a light leak? Indoor plants get light stress alot easyer then outdoor. It then causes the plant to hermie.
How long are you planning to veg? I think you could do ten at least under a 400. Or 20 SOG

I only have a closet space for growing, also 3 plants is my medical limit.. I'll be vegging for 2.5 week. Gona try 24 hours darkness than 12/12. What do you mean by light leek?

Its fine... Dont worry its not gonna die. Some seedlings dont turn out as pretty as others. Try growing a hundred out for the outdoors pulling the uglys from start. Just let it grow. Might be a female. Pick your best plant and clone off it. Your just lucky its not deformed.

i was told my seeds were feminized, also i dont have the space for anymore. thats why i wana concentrate on 3. the 4th is just a test and was gona put it outdoors when its warm enough... my test plant turned out better than the one with decolouration ( btw it does have 1 or 2 deformed leaves) ... but thats why.

Ok here is a good example. I planted 75 kush plants. 73 Sprouted. Ten were deformed or mutated. SOme even had three leaves. You have to remember there is differnt phenotypes when useing seeds. They are nothing like clones and do not turn out exactly like there mother/father did. 25 were female 4 hermies and rest i pulled or were males. Your not going to going to get perfect genetics with seeds even if feminized. Your lucky they all sprouted. dont kill it just grow it out. Put that one outdoors when the time comes.
