Fafard Professional Potting Mix
Kellogg Potting Soil
Supersoil Potting Soil
Sunshine All Purpose Planting Mix
Scotts Potting Soil
Miracle-Gro Potting Mix
Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Potting Mix
Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Fox Farm Happy Frog

those are the ones i would recommend. make sure you add dolomite lime to your mix for ph if you will be using chemical fertilizers. and if youre doing organically then dont worry about adding no dolomite lime just make sure you make tea from time to time and keep the beenies alive. those soils are the best that ive used with little to no issues.

and for germination i would go with....
Scotts Seed Starting Mix
Fox Farm Light Warrior

1 part Perlite or Vermiculite
1 part Compost
1 part "Store Bought" Topsoil
1 part Composted Steer Manure

For each gallon of the above mix, add:
1. Your favorite dry "organic" fertilizer (such as FoxFarm's Marine Cuisine) at about 1/4 - 1/2 strength.
2. About a good Tablespoon of Dolomite lime.

If you're in Europe then BioBizz 'All Mix' is very good. I've used Canna Terra professional too, and that was equally good.
