Can florescent lights work through flowering stages of plants life?

I was wondering if I can use florescent tubes because that's all I have for lighting and when its sunny out give it some sunshine, so I'm trying to find out when its flowering time, can I do 12/12 with them? I'm pretty sure its the cool white kind.

yes, thousands of people use them throughout their grow.
Cool white is a poor choice you NEED Daylight and some Warm White when flowering.

Don't post just to post - you are absolutely wrong.
There are plenty of people growing with T5 or CFL that get very nice harvests.
