Can flower nutes induce flowering early outdoors?

I say no but my buddy insists that his friends plants went into flowering early because he was feeding bloom nutes. I can't remember the strain but I always thought it was only the light schedule being lowered. Who's right?!??bongsmilie:confused:

Gotta go with nature... Less hours triggers change.
Any plant I have that's getting 18 hrs. a day is going to keep vegging and will only suffer a nutritional imbalance due to it getting the wrong nutrients.
