Yeap..
...
Well...
Making D.I.Y. solid state grow lights-and boasting about it !!!- has become as addictive as growing itself ..
Or might a tad more ?
So ..
Where was I ?
Ah,yes ..
I'm buiding poor myself a new 'dual COB' light ..
( I 've to ..I 've no single light to my ownership right now ...)
My second of the -so called -" V series " ...
The light's progress so far ...
(For those interested at D.I.Y. designs ,at least ... )
The outer top-front looks ...
A corner -spot on ...
The rear end ...
The " tin " wide open...
The 'inner plate " full loaded and pre-wired ..
(heat sink not shown )
A detail ..
The drivers are placed ,slightly to the front end of the plate .
That for 'balancing ' the weight of the rear plate- carrying the small Meanwell 12 VDC PSU ,the power outlet
posts and the EMI filter/AC input socket .
The rear plate ,from the inside ...
(half-wired,DC side only )
And that is -most of - the basic design ,of the " V series "dual COB lights .
Either utilising CXA3070 or Vero29 L.E.D. arrays ...
Cheers.
