Can I chop my plant into half? And then again,Another half?

The upper part of my plant is ripe, and ready for take off, but the bottom half is not. Is it okay if I just chop it off? Or will this affect the rest of the harvest?
Can I then, chop it in half again if needed? Or just leave it another couple of weeks and harvest the whole thing? Any experience is appreciated! Thanks y’all :leaf:

The lower half never really catches up with the upper buds
Lots of folks try harvesting in stages but the juice isn't worth the squeeze
I like to get the ripe plant out as soon as possible making way for the next contender :bigjoint:
I tried, it didn't work that well for me. The larf darkened up a lil but never really hardened up. I think the best approach ime, is to take off anything that doesn't get solid light penetration.

Yes, you can take the tops and then give the undergrowth another couple weeks.
They won’t be the same quality but they will still be good.
Requires patience. It takes a little while for them to wake up.
If you’re waiting to start another grow it can be hard to let it ride.
But if you’re not, give it a shot.
Make sure the tops are ready before you take them.
