yes, but why? all of the above are extremely inexpensive.

toss cuttings in 3 inches of tap water in a dixie cup
place near light(low light)
change water daily
roots in 10 - 20 days depending on environment/strain

^ all water cloning is definitely worth doing just for the wow! effect, very cool
the cutting will just sit there, and sit there, and all of a sudden the tap root jumps out and starts to take off
