so just recently i have thrown my plants that were indoors outside, the second day i noticed the leaves were actually starting to fade to a whitish lime greenish colour, that immidiatly made me think that i might have some sort of nutrient or iron deficiency.

i have 5 plants which are all unfortunatly being effected by this and they are all just over a month old, standing at about a foot tall. i was just wondering if i could possibly start fertilizing, i was planning on using miracle grow for tommatos,

if you guys could let me know what the hell is going on with these plants i would be very greatful,, and am i able to fertilize yet?

I think you may have burnt the leaves, If you did not acclimate them to the sun they will get a sun burn..

unless ur soil is already nutrient rich, yes at 4 wks & a foot tall ur definitely ready for a regular fert schedule. yep, the ferts u have will work, just make sure u only start with 1/4 strength of the recommended feeding on the package and only every 3rd watering for at least the first few feeds. ur going to want to also supplement some sort of calmag (calcium/magnesium) fert as well. Without a picture, there is no way for anyone to confirm/deny ur potential deficiencies (if any) or sun bleaching like the other poster said. But in any case, ur plants r ready for some food :)

So am I able to fix this sun burn, or will the plants recover, or have I just totally fried my plants :|
Dude, take what some people say around here with a grain of salt. At this time of year no plants can get "sun burnt" by the natural sun. It's only May 10 and you are in Canada. You really should post pics of the "white" you are talking about. I grow all my plants to 12-18 inches indoor then I put them outside. I don't do that few hours a day crap. A plant does not have to "adjust" to nature. Hell, plants were designed for nature. Give them nutes and let them do their own thing. Don't make it more difficult than it has to be.

the only reason i am making this difficult is because these plants that i am talking about came from 11 seeds of the dope strain from www.drgreenthumb.com which are about 225 bucks or so,

i just wanted to know what was going on and why, and what i could do to possibly fix it,
i just want peoples opinions,

It sounds like they need nitrogen. Is the whole leaf white? If the whole leaf turned white, you should definitely feed with something high in nitrogen(nitrogen is the first number in the NPK ratio they give you). If you aren't feeding them yet, I would say that is the problem. Like said earlier, start feeding them lightly and then in a couple of weeks build up to full strength.

Are you growing in pots or in the ground. In the ground is a little more forgiving if you do overfeed.

Miracle grow will work, but I would recommend giving them fish emulsion for some quick needed nitrogen. You can buy it at menards or at a hydro store and it works great for keeping plants green.

Without a pic it's hard to say not to mention you aren't giving much info for people to help.
