wondering if i can put thing like this --air carbon filter--inlane fan--cooled hood
or should i go air carbon filter--cooled hood-- inlane fan?
will be using a hps 600

i kno it wont be optimum for cooling but im on a budget and i can only afford one good fan atm
any input are welcome

i go carbon filter -> to fan -> ducted to 1000w -> ducted to 600w -> ducted to exhaust. with a 440cfm fan. works great on my 2 lights.

I believe its better to have the fan pushing cool air through the light rather than sucking hot air purely for longevity of the fan but I'd go with whichever order is easier for you to set up in your space. As long as you have the filter first you are golden my friend :joint:

Oh and I'd tape up the cracks on the cool tube/hood as they are rarely airtight;)
