Can I get by without any light at all for my clones?

I had a t5 that the bulb went out on and my clones have no optimal light, I have my 5x5 veg tent with adjustable ballast 600 watt mh in but I wonder, can I just leave them in my small clone tent without any light for like ten more days and maybe check them each day make sure they aren’t wilting? Can they root in complete darkness?

I believe I read somewhere they can go for up to 2 weeks in darkness but I cannot back up that claim. It was likely also meant about a healthy established plant. I would also think without an established root system it would likely be a death sentence. Can you at least give them some sun or perhaps a cheap blurple light in the mean time? Hopefully someone more familiar with clones can respond for you.
