Can I just add water to lower ec

I’m using tap water of a ec of 0.6 once I’ve added nutrients it’s at 2.0 ec can I add more ph water to bring the ec down or can it cause problems?

Yes, but don't pH the water.........wait and pH the whole solution after you've watered it down.
Why not just add less nutes so you get the ec you're shooting for?

He might be running a res, at least that's why I do it. Sometimes the plant drinks more than it eats.

@Tolerance Break @MickFoster yeah I started a new run with auto pots and a res so I’m just trying to get used to ec

It's better to use ro water to bring down ec but if you dont have an ro system diluting it with tap is fine. It just takes more water to lower it
