Can i put a Clone in...

Hi Guys

I was jus wondering can i put a cutting straight into Hydrotion without Wool rock

I have tryed Woolrock or Rockwool whatever its callled LOL and it jus doesnt work For me

Ive spent about 200 bucks on cloning in the last month and
i havent been too successful and i feel like giving up

Ive bought trays and domes and peat pots ,jiffys,heating mats , little fans ,different flouros
water pumps ,Air pumps ,Air Stones ,seed raising mixes, perlite ,vermiculite not to mention totes and lids LOL and netty pots lol

Do i need a B1 vitamin solution or something else

There has to be an easier way


Ok so the first time

I took clones i took 10 clones

I used straight Vermiculite into a 10 Cell punnet misted them 2 or 3 times a day
i got the 2 weeks make they went yellow and jus died

Next time i done the same thing jus into perlite

next time i used a 50% Perlite and 50% seed raising mix same thing 2 weeks make they jus yellow and die

I tryed wool Rock 3 times 2 times they went moldy and the last time the stem jus rotted


Im jus having no luck with cloning at the moment i took about 60 cuttings into str8 seed raising mix

and its 2 weeks tomorrow they look green but i havent seen root jus yet i checked a few and some are slimey around the end i cut at a 45 degree Angle

can someone please help me im getting really down hearted about the whole thing

ty rapid rooters. ppl have great sucess with em. clonin can be tricky what works great for some (dome/misting tray) dont work for otheres i get 99% success all i do is this
take cut recut under water at 45 then dip in clonex and into bubbler which is just a 5 gal bucket with holes cut into it that i stick rw or rapid rooters in and in a week i have roots. i do add b52 from AN now instead of thrive alve which i used to use in the water. i also have 100% success using an aerogarden i stole from my motherinlaw. but it only holds 6 cuts.ne needs to be topped up everyday
i hate domes and mistin never worked for me it sux to fail but once u figure out ur way u will be clonin forever.goodluck

first time i tried cutting clones the all died.so did the second and third time.i got pretty frustrated and decided to plant 20 seeds and for the hell of it cut 20 more clones.well guess what,every one of those bastards grew and i didnt have enough light.had to expand my room and buy another 1000w.ithink the problem was i was cutting them a little premature.
