Can I re-use potting soil?

I'm trying to grow a couple plants in containers using FF Ocean Forest. I planted a Rockwell cube with a new seedling, but 1 died. Can I re-use the potting soil by simply planting another seedling? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply Bong. I thought the Ocean Forest soil might be better than the local nursery, I'll have to check that out. Was hoping soil would be ok to re-use, since its only been in the containers for less than a week.

Sure you can use that soil mix again, but do you want to? How long was the plant in the soil mix before it died? Why did the plant die, was it the soil mix that cause the plant problems? I have reused the soil mix from clones that didn't take with no problems. I reuse as long as the previous plant did not have bugs, mold, or some other plant disease; and if it was used for only 2-3 weeks.

Appreciate all the info MsBBB. The seedling was a week old, and I think got to much water from all the rain. Although I got them in a dry place quickly.
