I started washing/ rinsing them around 2 weeks ago with a garden sprayer and RO water. Have washed the plant I just took 3 time before harvesting. I know safers says its safe and degrades and is organic but I also know you NEVER spray your bud when it has tricomes, but had to and have since learned about baking soda for PM and alcohol for aphids.
. I am going to start spraying/ rinsing off the rest daily and watching tricomes so they will have a week or more of being washed which may help a little, but from the soap taste in my mouth today, which ain't something I would wish on an enemy, (I took a puff last night at 6pm), so presently I am of the opinion that no matter how many showers they take, they are not smoke-able in their herbatious state. I am fairly sure that this is a "hail mary" salvage operation. I am hoping someone with more knowledge than I can help before I become an expert through practice by effort. I am going to try a bubble bag run as the next logical step, but the next and likely final step in my plan will be winterizing- alcohol-buckner funnel- vacume filtering and use as an edible. The option that I think would possbly work is CO2 extraction but I am a finacially limited medical user/ home grower and don't got a spare 20 grand for a CO2 extractor. So what do you think?
